Heavy Duty pontoons
Heavy Duty pontoons
Heavy Duty pontoons are built of a strong concrete floating structure connected by a flexible connection set, and with a side connection if required. These characteristics offer a multitude of installation combinations that give our design engineers the possibility of maximum water surface utilization. In addition to the numerous configuration options of Heavy Duty series, we offer a variety of accessories that can be installed and adapted to any system. Options include different types of concrete, various coatings, hard or soft wood treads, installation channels for water, electricity and fire protection. The construction is coordinated with the installation of bollards or load-bearing rails on which the fingers are positioned in order to moor the vessel.
Floating elements are available in various sizes – up to 4 meters wide and weighing up to 21 tons. These are long-lasting reinforced concrete structures designed as stand-alone compact elements. Continuous buoyancy gives them great carrying capacity and excellent durability. They are ideal for accommodating ships in marinas or for forming independent piers. For all Heavy Duty pontoons besides the standard chain anchor system there is a possibility of anchoring with Seaflex anchor system. Seaflex is specifically designed for these pontoons; and it provides simple and secure mooring. These systems have an extremely strong construction, built according to EU 206-1 and their projected service life is 50 years.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Heavy Duty pontoons are designed to moor vessels in modern marinas and are used to bridge shores or to be used as floating platforms. They are very durable, maintenance-free and have a large load-bearing capacity.
