Production
Production of Marinetek takes place indoors and it has a capacity of about 300 concrete pontoons per year. With our production program, we satisfy the needs for quality reconstruction of existing marinas, and for the construction of new capacities. Marinetek pontoons are extremely environmentally friendly, and the cost of transport and installation has been greatly reduced due to on-site production.
Concrete pontoons are made of special concrete reinforced with hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel, and have a 50-year durability even in unfavourable climatic environment. Pontoons and breakwater piers of various sizes are made for the Croatian market and for many customers from Turkey, Italy, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Cyprus, Malta etc.
During 2009 and 2010 Marinetek expanded the range of its products to a new generation of Premier pontoon elements and mega pontoons Concours, which have so far only been produced at Marinetek plant in Dubai. Mega pontoons are 20 m long, 6 m wide, weigh 60 meters, and the first customer of this exceptional product is probably the most prestigious marina for megayachts in the Mediterranean – Port Hercules in Monaco.
Marinetek pontoons are produced using the most modern methods, from high quality materials and according to quality standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Our products are approved by many other classification societies, for example Finnish SFS, Det Norske Veritas, Polish Revestr Statkon and Russian GOST, and of course, Croatian Ship Register.
Marinetek pontoons are also produced in Latvia, Portugal, Dubai, USA, Russia, Sweden and of course in Finland. We are proud that the pontoons produced by Marinetek from Šibenik in the year 2008 were declared the highest quality pontoons within the group.
Marinetek Housing, a specialized company for the production of floating residential and office spaces, from small bungalows to luxury residential houses, also operates within the Finnish Marinetek.
The production of pontoon houses utilizes the highest quality composite materials, completely resistant to ice, moisture and waves. The houses are delivered on a “turnkey” basis, with built-in installations and furniture that customers can choose from a wide range of renowned manufacturers.
