- Marinetek Adriatic to Build a Breakwater Pontoon in the Port of Novalja
A contract for the installation of a breakwater pontoon has been signed at the premises of the Novalja Port Authority, officially marking the beginning of the seventh phase of the port infrastructure development project in Novalja.
The contract was signed by Tomislav Kustić, Director of the Novalja Port Authority, and Boris Miškić, Managing Director of Marinetek Adriatic.
The project includes the supply, anchoring and installation of a modern breakwater pontoon designed to protect the port from strong winds and waves. Its installation will further improve the safety of vessels belonging to local residents and fishermen, as well as those of the many visiting boaters who come to Novalja throughout the year.
The total value of the project is approximately EUR 313,000. The Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure will provide 90% of the funding, while the remaining 10% will be jointly financed by the City of Novalja and the Novalja Port Authority.
The installation of the breakwater pontoon represents another important step in the long-term development and modernisation of the Port of Novalja. Marinetek Adriatic brings extensive experience, expertise and proven technology in floating infrastructure to the project.
We are proud that the knowledge and technology of our team will contribute to the long-term protection of the port and create a safer, higher-quality environment for all its users.
