At the end of 2021 Marinetek had signed a contract for another significant project. After a long preparation of all documents and permits, the new concessionaire Star Turist from Karlovac, begins to build a new marina – the nautical tourism port of Drage. Marina Drage will have up to 200 commercial berths for yachts up to 30 meters long, a service area and a new gastronomic center. Extremely good location, proximity to the highway, to the open sea and the National Park Kornati, will certainly contribute to excellent booking of capacities and a great number of visitors of the marina.
The project envisages the construction of a new shore wall in the form of a promenade by the sea and the construction of a 300-meters-long breakwater on concrete piles that will protect the marina from storms from the west. To organize the mooring berths for yachts, Marinetek will deliver and install a total of 435 meters of Heavy Duty pontoons 3 meters wide, equipped with fingers and equipment for mooring of vessels.
Construction is scheduled to begin over the winter as investor plans to open the marina this summer. We believe that Marina Drage will soon become an inevitable point on the routes of boaters on their journeys in the middle Adriatic.
